This Privacy Policy explains how QR Reader ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our mobile application. QR Reader is designed to respect your privacy and minimize data collection.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal data such as name, email, phone number, or location. However, we use certain third-party services to enhance the app’s performance:

• a) Locally Stored Data
  QR codes you create or scan are stored only on your device, using Apple’s UserDefaults. We do not collect, upload, or transmit this data to our servers.
• b) Crash Reporting & Performance
  We use Firebase Crashlytics to help diagnose and fix bugs. This may include:
  • Device type, iOS version
  • App version
  • Anonymized crash logs (no personal data)
• c) Analytics & Subscription Tracking
  Qonversion SDK is used to:
  • Understand app usage trends (e.g., feature usage frequency)
  • Track subscription status and trial periods
  No personal identifiers are used.

3. In-App Purchases

QR Reader offers a weekly subscription plan with a 3-day free trial. All payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store). We do not access or store any billing or credit card information.

You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime via your Apple ID > Subscriptions section.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or rent any personal data to third parties. The only external parties with limited access to technical data (such as crash logs) are:

• Firebase (Google)
• Qonversion

These providers are used strictly for debugging and usage analysis.

5. Children’s Privacy

QR Reader is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Security

We use secure APIs and follow Apple’s data protection best practices. Locally stored QR codes are accessible only to the user’s device and not transmitted externally.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the app and the “Effective Date” will be updated.
